How to create a laser engraved portrait in wood.
First, you take a beautiful model.
Then, you take a sharp clear digital photo. In this case, the background is completely white, creating the ideal contrast.
The photo is then transferred onto a special laser software which allows you to adjust gamma and other specific photo settings. The next stop is into the special laser cutting software. Adjustments are made for size, the speed of engraving and cutting. The intensity percentage of the laser is set for both engrave and cut.
The workpiece, in this case, wood, is placed parallel to the origin. Finally, we set the origin and then start the laser process. Before you know it, you have a unique custom keepsake that will last forever.
Times and costs vary depending on size, material, and application. If you would like more information about creating a laser engraved version of your favorite portrait, please call the Dapper Zapper at Laser Mafia, 772 473 3784
